We get it: whether you’re sending your child away to college from elsewhere around the state, around the country, or even around the world, you want to make sure they have a safe, rich, and rewarding experience—both on campus and off. As a multi-generation, family-run business born and bred right here in Ithaca, New York, we treat each and every tenant like an extended member of our own family.

Making Ithaca Home

WSA co-founders Bob and Linda Terry raised their 6 children in Ithaca, saw all 6 graduate from Ithaca High School, and graduated 4 from Cornell University. For us, Ithaca is home.

And for over the past 50+ years, we’ve helped hundreds of tenants also Make Ithaca Home.

It’s not easy to send your child away to college, yet it’s also a time when they spread their wings, gain independence, and take a definitive step into adulthood.

When they do, we know that you want them to have a few good people on their side. We’re privileged to play that role for many of our tenants.

We are always available to answer your questions and encourage you to have your son or daughter ask questions, too. We are available as a resource, regardless of the topic.

Our goal is to offer quality apartments with amenities students need, at rents students and parents can afford. We also provide guidance, tools, and tips to help with the rental process and apartment living so students can make the transition of living on their own, in a safe, supportive environment. Each tenant is treated as an individual to help Make Ithaca Home—for a semester, a year or two, or even a lifetime.
